Community Toy Chest

Every December the Alliance House Community Coalition holds its Annual Community Toy Chest, which has donated over 1500 toys to families in need of a Christmas since 2018. The toys donated to our organization come from businesses and individuals living around and within Knox County and the City of Knoxville. Representatives from local homeless shelters, social service agencies, youth centers, and other organizations picked up the toys to distribute to children for the holidays.

Statistics suggest that one in three prisoners is a parent, and 75% of female prisoners are mothers. Our Community Toy Chest is about the servant ship to others. This annual toy drive hopefully inspires a family to shop for a less fortunate child and help to teach children the invaluable lessons of being thankful, empathetic, and charitable to others. We use this opportunity to also connect these families to valuable resources, other non-profits, and agencies in the community.

Show your support for your community and their families by giving them a Christmas for the holidays. We believe that each child in our city should experience the delight of receiving and opening their very own holiday gifts. We have helped hundreds meet their basic needs to have a Christmas holiday. Monetary donations help with the purchase of new Christmas toys for children and families in need.
